cupboards are painted and the flooring went in today.

1st trip

 

 

 

 

 a wet wet wet weekend at Phillip Island.
the boys still had fun and we were warm and dry in the van.
i spent most of Saturday putting all the things i bought for the van in cupboards.
6 families from school, good company with old and new friends and lots of wet kids riding in puddles.

almost back to its bear bones.
now this week we will strat to paint add new flooring, new bed and cushion covers.

renovations

 

 

 

 

 

today we had a free day, and our lovely friends who are looking after the caravan (they have flat land and he is a handyman and we will pay him for a few days work) were at home. so we demolished the inside of the van, while all the kids played and gardened.
a productive day. we removed the shower, put in a new wall and lifted all the old flooring.

on the way back into Echuca, we stopped to watched the famous 'Southern 80' boat race. something that i had never seen.

we picked up the van and drove to a town called Cohuna.
the boys fell asleep in the car, but when they awoke this morning they were very excited.
we had breakfast and then explored the caravan park.
